What's Your Ideal Choral Rehearsal Bag?

Katie Wanschura

I am Katie of a Thousand Bags. I am always carrying too many items with me to and from work and rehearsal—it seems like each one has something in it that I need. The minute I consolidate, I grab another bag because it has that one item I've forgotten already.

I long for the ideal rehearsal bag. You know the one, right? That fits everything and has everything in it that I could possibly need at any given point.

What would your ideal rehearsal bag look like? What would it contain? Take our survey and let us know! Enter your email address for a chance to win an iSing t-shirt. We will compile the answers in a few weeks and let you know the results...

To begin, what shape would your bag be?

Like a grocery bag with a square bottom, two handles, and few-to-no pockets?

Or would it be more like a conference bag: tote-like with additional water bottle-sized outside pockets or pencil-shaped outside holders, with blank space inside?

Or would you go the messenger bag route: plain outside, but lots of pockets inside?

Or do you carry so much music that a backpack, possibly with padded straps and many pockets, is your ideal?

For that matter, how about a duffle bag?

Or a rolling suitcase? My mother, a professor, swears by this for the hike from the parking deck to her office.

So tell us your opinion by taking this survey!
